1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using givingtreemap.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

GivingTree provides a map and knowledge base covering impact-investing capital flows, compiled from public sources. The Service is informational — see our Disclaimer regarding accuracy and reliance.

3. Accounts

You may create an account using email and password or a supported third-party sign-in (currently Google). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to scrape, bulk-extract, or resell data from the Service without permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its underlying infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system.

5. Content and intellectual property

Original content on the Service — including the Knowledge Base, map data presentation, and design — is owned by GivingTree unless otherwise stated. Deal data is compiled from public sources; underlying facts are not owned by GivingTree, but the compilation, verification, and presentation are.

6. Subscriptions and payment

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. See our Disclaimer for the full limitation of liability, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page.
